Nelson brings over 22 years of program/construction management, engineering, and environmental compliance services for the public, government and private sector capital improvement programs within Southern California. Nelson has served on the Wiseburn Unified School District (WUSD) Board of Trustees since 2005.

 

Nelson brings a keen understanding of the K-12 sector and is one of the original founders of the Da Vinci Schools. Additionally, he continues to expand his community leadership through his involvement with other organizations such as AYSO, Aviation / Wiseburn Little Leagues, and Redondo Beach Youth Basketball. Nelson holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with a Natural Science Emphasis from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Nelson is a Certified Construction Manager and a LEED Accredited Professional.
